Che sembra ancora il set di The Day After: macerie ovunque, il rumore assordante delle macchine, foto e disegni di bambini che svolazzano al vento ancora attaccati ai pochi muri superstiti, e ricoperti di polvere. In questo disastro, tutti lavorano freneticamente perché, come ripete Vacondio quasi a convicere se stesso oltre agli altri, «ora si riparte». «Vendiamo ad altri marchi, per la maggior parte stranieri», spiega. «Quanto può passare prima che gli avvoltoi, penso soprattutto ai turchi, si buttino a capofitto sui miei clienti?». Per questo in cantiere gli operai lavorano freneticamente, concedendosi un unico momento di pausa per guardare la gru che solleva il tetto: sembra un gigante che gioca a meccano con i pezzi della loro fabbrica. A fine giornata, un sospiro di sollievo: il forno è ripartito, la Moma può ricominciare a produrre, i posti di lavoro sono salvi. «Grazie ai fornitori: ci hanno garantito materie prime e servizi, posticipando i pagamenti. E ad alcuni imprenditori che ci hanno permesso di produrre nei loro stabilimenti, per non fermare del tutto le consegne. Ma soprattutto ai miei lavoratori: gente che per settimane ha dormito in macchina ma ogni mattina è qui. Quando qualcuno si stupisce che produciamo tutto in Italia mi chiedo: dove altro potrei trovare persone così?».[...]

ABBIAMO FATTO FESTA!

Con quasi 150 invitati la MoMa ha celebrato  la ripartenza dell'azienda  e la ripresa della produzione dopo il sisma di maggio. "Abbiamo vinto la prima battaglia, e a meno di 40 giorni dal terremoto siamo riusciti a riprendere l'attività produttiva" spiega Renzo Vacondio numero uno di Moma ceramiche.

Una grande festa che si è svolta al Pattaya al suono di Rhythm & Blues assieme agli Alan soul & alanselzer, formidabile compagine di oltre dieci elementi, che ha allietato una schiera di amici, fornitori, collaboratori e dipendenti. "Siamo ripartiti con la produzione il 3 Luglio e non si poteva assolutamente non festeggiare".

LA GRECIA E LA LUCE NEI LORO OCCHI

La temperatura segna 32° e sono solo le 8.52 del mattino qui in Grecia.

L'atmosfera è quindi bollente sotto tutti gli aspetti, non solo sul fronte economico. Il volo di andata però era totalmente esaurito. Vero che siamo in altissima stagione per il turismo, essendo questa la seconda settimana diLuglio, ma solo due mesi fa, quando ero qui, l'aereo era praticamente vuoto.
Una desolazione. Le elezioni di Maggio avevano messo nel caos piu' assoluto il paese. Il popolo era davvero spaesato. Naturale che solo dopo 4 settimanedi nuovo governo, la situazione non è cambiata. Ma almeno c'è piu'stabilità. E speriamo che il volo pieno, indichi almeno una ripresa del turismo, ossigeno vitale per questo meraviglioso paese e popolo, tanto vicino e simile a quello italiano che in tantissimi casi non si notano differenze. E' sempre un piacere per noi di Idea Ceramica visitare i nostri clienti in Grecia, che durante i 50 giorni di stop forzato di produzione si sono dimostrati amici, non solo clienti. Hanno ricambiato i favori che abbiamo fatto noi per sostenerli in questi momenti così difficili che passeranno alla storia come anni neri. Naturale che i nostri clienti siano cauti nell'affrontare nuovi investimenti. Il futuro non è mai stato così incerto e preoccupante. I cali di fatturato avrebbero messo in ginocchio chiunque. Ma qui, di resa nessuno vuole sentire parlare. Nonostante ora la richiesta di prodotti a prezzi indecenti sembra essere la regola unica, il lavoro duro degli anni passati dei nostri agenti sta dando i suoi frutti. I clienti infatti apprezzano molto le nostre nuove proposte di Marmora e Nottingham, non esitano a campionare e a ordinare il materiale e non discutono sui prezzi. Certo, non parliamo dei quantitativi che si facevano solo due anni fa, ma quello che conta oggi è rimanere uniti. Come Idea Ceramica conta sulla propria clientela per costruire il proprio futuro qui in Grecia, i nostri clienti si affidano anche ai nostri prodotti per affrontare al meglio questi mesi bui. E ogni volta che un meeting finisce con una bella stretta di mano e un arrivederci, vedo sempre quella luce nei loro occhi che mi ricorda quella dei miei colleghi che nel piu' breve tempo possibile cercavano di mettere in sicurezza e in funzione l'azienda dopo il terremoto per ripartire. E quella luce mi rassicura, perchè capisco che hanno voglia di affrontare questo momento con tutte le forze, rialzarsi e diventare piu' forti di prima e lo faranno anche con noi.

LA NOSTRA STORIA DA OGGI RIPRENDE

Erano passate le 4 del mattino dalla prima terribile scossa di terremoto che il 20 Maggio ha messo in ginocchio la nostra terra, la nostra quotidianità e la nostra amata azienda. Il nostro simbolo, la Torre dell'Orologio, si è spezzata e il tempo si è come fermato, ma non per noi. Infatti, erano le 11 di questa mattina, martedì 3 luglio '12, quando le Presse sono tornare a dare il formato alle ns piastrelle dando il LA alla nostra ripartenza e battendo il tempo della ns rinascita. Costante e preciso. Come un battito di cuore. Come il cuore grande di tutti quelli che in queste settimane piene di tensione e difficoltà, non si sono mai fatte prendere dallo sconforto o dalla rabbia, non si sono fermate a piangere o ad aspettare l'aiuto di chissà chi, ma si sono rimboccate le maniche, hanno lavorato giorno e notte... e i loro sforzi sono stati ripagati. Come l'azienda vuole ringraziare chi dall'esterno si è dimostrato vicino, chi ha manifestato affetto, comprensione e amicizia vera, noi dell'azienda vogliamo ringraziare la proprietà e la dirigenza che ci ha dimostrato che con il sorriso, l'ottimismo, la caparbietà e il fare squadra, il tutto alla lunga paga. Con l'esperienza acquisita e con la voglia di ripartire, siamo sicuri che la nostra azienda sarà ogni giorno più forte. E la nostra storia da oggi riprende...

IL PAPA FRA I TERREMOTATI

Lungo discorso e incontro con gli sfollati a Rovereto di Novi dove è morto il parroco don Ivan Martini, schiacciato dal crollo della sua chiesa mentre cercava di salvare una statuetta della Madonna.
